Teaching represents a fundamental dimension of Alberto Fraser’s engagement with design. In parallel with his professional practice, Fraser has dedicated much of his career to teaching and mentoring young designers, emphasizing the relationship between technological innovation, and emotional perception in design. He has conducted seminars in Industrial Design for the Korean Institute of Design Promotion (K.I.D.P.) in Seoul and led a two-year seminar at the Fondazione Umanitaria in Milan on Industrial Design and the Urban Environment.
At the Politecnico di Milano (Campus Bovisa), he co-taught:
Beyond the Gateway (with Camilla Ceschi, 2020)
You Design It, You Make It (with Caterina Castiglioni, 2021)
He also collaborates with the A.D.I. Tutor Program, mentoring designers in conceptualization, sketching, model making, and prototyping. His approach integrates traditional craftsmanship with contemporary production technologies.
